A Magically Delicious Lucky Charms Cake to hopefully bring us some good luck this month!

If you’re anything like us, you’ve been plagued with sickness for months, with multiple trips to the doctor and even some to the emergency room.

For your sake, I hope your families sickness wasn’t that bad.

We are finally getting back to our routine and catching up on work and life in general.

If I had an ounce of energy, I would have been bummed about being sick over Valentine’s Day. I was more disappointed I wasn’t able to do any of the fun projects I had planned.

My husband and I did enjoy a nice romantic dinner at our favorite Italian food restaurant. We joked that we gave each other the gift of silence for Valentine’s Day since we had both lost our voice.

In all my years on this earth, I had never lost my voice, so I found it both comical, annoying and even slightly embarrassing. You try ordering food in a noisy restaurant atmosphere with very little sound coming out of your month.

As we are gearing up for a busy month, spring break, my birthday and then in April, Easter. I thought I would kick off this crazy month with a festive cake.

Baking and decorating a cake isn’t for the faint of heart. Cheers to all the cake bakers and decorators out there because it is hard work!

I am improving, slightly, which is exciting but getting buttercream flat brought on PTSD from when we retextured our walls.

Both are tedious and time-consuming for a newb like me, but enough rambling, here she is!

My kids and husbands weren’t too thrilled to find I took all the marshmallows out of the Lucky Charms.  Oh well.

Hope everyone has a safe spring break and gets to pinch someone on the 17th!
