So I have a huge tub of fondant left over from little lambs birthday party and have been trying to put it to good use. I also have a bag of leftover candy corn from last year when we took pictures our sweet little girl on her first Halloween! She was barely a month old, boy how time flies!


I saw this awesome candy corn cob on pinterest…but of course. There were several postings, and each did it with a different filling. I had left over fondant, so I was determined to make that work. The concept of this project is super easy, but I am warning you it is very temperamental!


1. Roll out a log of fondant then stick it in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
-I really could have done a better job rolling it out and making it more proportional and taken a less blurry photo.. oh well


2. Start sticking the candy corn in the fondant. I would do two rows at a time and then stick it back in the freezer for 5-10 minutes.

3. Continue doing two rows at a time or however many you can get done. The candy corn doesn’t like to stick in the fondant as it gets warmer.

This is how it turned out. I think it looks pretty cool, but the candy corns will definitely melt if you leave it out too long and your teeth would probably rot if you ate it! lol If you do eat it I hope you have a good dentist! I’m not sure if it makes for a good project or not, but I think it makes for a cool Halloween decoration or would look great as a cake topper!
